Orion's latest E1/T1, GSM Channel
Banks may be used for terminating in-bound and out-bound long distance VoIP, VoATM, or
DCME E1/T1 traffic directly into the GSM wireless networks (instead of the analog PSTN
lines).
The interface of the network side is E1 / T1 digital
interface. The interface on the wireless side is 30 x GSM wireless links.
- Ideal choice for terminating long distance traffic / VoIP
traffic to the PSTN / GSM (mobile cellular) networks.
No land lines required!!!
- For terminating incoming and out-bound (outgoing) VoIP
traffic
- Unique out-bound calling, user programmable, access feature
- Accurate and complete answer supervision and line-disconnect
supervision, for both E1 and T1 interfaces.
- Many advantages over Fixed Wireless Terminals
- All 30, GSM channels are dual band - 900MHz and 1800MHz with
auto-sense / auto-switching capability.
- Remote monitoring and configuration through TCP/IP access
(optional).
- PRI ISDN Q.931 (EURO ISDN) signaling available (optional).
- Compact and Integrated. Up to 30 / 24, GSM wireless
terminals in a 19-inch, 6U high chassis.
The GSM, E1/T1 channel bank is an integrated
solution that provides 30 x GSM (wireless) terminals for an E1, or 24 x GSM (wireless)
terminals for a T1 interface, in a single integrated system.
The GSM wireless terminals are directly integrated to an E1/T1
interface which, in turn, may be connected to a VoIP gateway (e.g. Cisco AS5300 / AS3640,
Nuera 200iP etc.) to terminate VoIP calls directly through GSM wireless networks. The GSM
Channel Bank also offers an integrated Echo-Canceller (optional) to cancel (remove) any
echoes that result from the typical VoIP / VoATM network delays.
Orion's telecom transmission solutions is installed in over 40
countries.
Orion also has
a wide range of telecom transmission solutions including multiplexers / Primary
ISDN (Euro ISDN) multiplexers, DCME voice compression equipment, echo cancellers, channel
