VCL-30, E1 Access Multiplexer with
R2, Channel Associated Signaling

Orion's VCL-30, 2Mbps E1 Access Multiplexer
with R2, Channel Associated Signaling (CAS) for providing an E1, WAN interface to connect
2 wire PSTN analog, dial-up circuits to the fully digital corporate LAN and ISP networks,
Remote Access Servers and Internet Telephony Servers requiring E1, WAN connectivity.
The VCL-30 can be used with PSTN lines that SHALL SUPPORT, or,
DO NOT SUPPORT "battery reversal / polarity reversal" (answer supervision).
The VCL-30, E1 channel banks are available in two versions:
- VCL-30 can be used with PSTN lines that SHALL SUPPORT
"battery reversal / polarity reversal" (answer supervision).
- VCL-30 "spoofs" battery reversal / polarity reversal
(answer supervision), and can be used with PSTN lines even if they SHALL NOT SUPPORT
"battery reversal / polarity reversal" (answer supervision).
- Orion also provides a wide range of telecom transmission
solutions including data communication equipment, Voice over IP solutions, E1 Channel
Banks, E1 WAN Access multiplexer, E2 (4E1) Opti Multiplexer, E3-PDH multiplexers, 34Mbps Optical
Line Transmission equipment (OLTE), ISDN, digital pair gain systems and Bandwidth Manager
equipment.
